cooking..cooking... cooking... *telephone vibrate at 4.45pm*

me:"hello.."
weeks:"where r u now?"
me:"in the room la..."
weeks:"done?"
me:"no la...still got lots more..."
weeks:"watch the time ah!"
me:"kkk.. bb.."

we are cooking in our own rooms n we r goin to ps ken's house to dine with them.. letting them try malaysia chinese usual dinner :)

though it's a rush... (cos everyone juz after school n need to cook n need to....HURRY!) but.. it's FUN!

we departed at 6.30pm at last.... n the funniest part is... we still need to wait if we reach there... cos our main meal ---- RICE is not cooked yet :)

things happened like this...

--sat morning--
me:"where u wanna cook ur rice?"
wendy:"i think i gonna cook in ps ken's house.."
me:"r u sure? u need to bring ur rice pot.."
wendy:"no prob.. i can put it in my bag.. no prob no prob"
me:"ok... it's up to u.."

--on the way to ps ken's house--
*in the bus*
me:"ooopsss... it's late.. n we still cant start dinner rite after reaching there.."
weeks:"y??"
me:"our main meal--RICE!! not cooked yet"
wendy:"nvm la... 30 min oni.."
me:"orite..."

*in the metro*
me:"actually juz now do u have enuf time to cook the rice?"
wendy:"ya..."
me:"y din u cook it?"
wendy:"the rice is... NOT WITH ME!"
me:"huh?" *thinking*.....*weeks bought it*.....*run to the other side n sit down*
me:"weeks.. erm.. did u bring the rice?"
weeks:**showin me large eyes**---indicating--nope....
me:**-_-**
me:"mei siu... do u have money? we gonna buy rice.."

*in ps ken's house--half way preparing to cook the rice(we cooking chicken rice actually)*
me:"where is ur chicken cube?"
wendy:"i din bring :)"
me:"huh?" **-_-**
wendy:"nvm... let's cook ginger rice..."

HAHAHAAAA.. funny rite.. but thx to our great chef--wendy... the rice n muachi n the soup super nice... corny chicken from yellow weekee chicky's gdma's recipe is wonderful... n thx for piao mei oso.. helping for cooking... n mei siu, our dishes washer...

GREAT JOB guys!! we had had a wonderful dinner... :)

CNY eve DiNner

Urghhh...*Burb..* (fullllll).... CNY eve dinner real menu (FINAL LIST):

First of all, we have our traditional Bak Jam Kai (steam chick)

then, comes the super sour lemon fish (a super good appertizer)

Special meat ball..(from... Kampar, i think.. people's g'ma recipe)


Brocolli w beef (suppose to be only vege... but we all r a better carnivor than herbivor
though we r actually omnivor...*blurrrr--@_@*)

super duber spicy crazy soup....--ma la tang-- (after trying, i din even touch it again...too spicy..)*people laughing by the side*-- me: DUN LAUGH!

Look familiar? erm... it actually shouldn't appear now... hehe.... cos we juz miss him sooooo much.. so we put him in the menu... YA! it's rite... it's "tang yuan" (glutineous ball)

FAMILY REUNION DINNER!!!

CNY is NeAr...

How's CNY in moscow should be? The v first thing that i normally think about is the CNY eve dinner. Dunno y, i feel it's a v meaningful dinner for all chinese, no matter who u r (either buddhist, taoist, christians, even islams) It's not about wut religion, it's all about chinese traditional practice. I do like the feeling when all the family members sitting down at a "round" table (now may be rectangular, but nvm), eating together. Chit chatting (though normally parents teach us not to talk during meals.. :P).

Though i m in moscow now, i still practise this tradition (of cos not with my family members-- no money for flight ticket). A group of close frens will sit together n eat. Anyway. being students in moscow, we have to COOK for ourselves!

Do you noe my menu for this year's CNY eve's dinner? HeHE.... erm... all kinds of chinese food of cos. Nice chick, nice fish, nice dumplings, nice..."tong yun" No SALAD allowed ok? If salad, it must be "lang pun" :P Our dessert will be "lin zhi gen".. (hope i noe the proper way of boiling it :P)

Wut's next after CNY eve? CNY morning breakfast.... We have planned nice breakfast, but... dunno r we able to prepare it.... (ques: y? ; ans: NEED TO WAKE UP EARLY LA! it's SUNDAY!)

Then, later on we will have group party..."druzhnaya gruppa" wut!... SEEMS packed rite? nvm,CNY should be packed n FUN!
